"The best deli food on the island. The Pastrami is perfect, every bite is delicious. The TUNA is the best tuna I've had in decades. You can't buy white meat tuna like this in the grocery store. All the store canned tuna that declares it's 'white' is like the old 'light'. Their tuna is perfect and caused me to write this review. Bravo, Pastrami Express."

"Exactly what I was looking for. I went for lunch today by myself and I was pleasantly surprised how cute this little restaurant was. They greeted me nicely and told me to have a seat. I ordered pastrami on rye and a square potato knish. The pastrami was hot and juicy and plentiful. It was delicious. They also gave me pickles and coleslaw. Yummy!!

I'm guessing it was the owner that gave me a large piece of homemade Apple strudel to take home since this was my first time there. It was delicious. How nice of her.

I highly recommend this little restaurant and I will be back for sure. If I could give it six stars I would."
